5 new Covid cases reported over 24 hours in Cayman Islands
June 3, The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reports 505 COVID-19 tests which have been carried out since yesterday’s press conference. There are five positive results.
Four are assumed to be locally acquired cases who are asymptomatic and picked up through screening; contact tracing has started. The fifth positive case is in a traveler who was already isolated.
To date there are 156 total positive cases.
78 have recovered from the disease, while one person has died.
In total 12,508 tests have been completed in Cayman Islands.
