Commenting on the recent trend of negative test results, Dr Lee said, “The Cayman Islands can be proud of how well we are faring however, we must all continue to follow prevention measures including social distancing and frequent hand-washing in order to keep this trend going.”
The COVID-19 virus claimed one life in Cayman, since it appeared in the island.
A total 203 cases have been recorded.
29,942 tests have been conducted, which has been one the factors why the island has been able to achieve zero active case count.
Globally the virus has exceeded 17 million confirmed cases.
