With tropical storm warning flags going up across Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, officials on the two spent a sunny afternoon getting ready for the heavy winds, strong winds and rough seas expected to accompany Tropical Storm Laura as it continues its movement across Cuba overnight.
Notices have been posted in public places and outreach made to the vulnerable. Boats were advised to move to safe harbour as quickly as possible and residents advised to hunker down tomorrow.
