COVID-19 Update 7 July 2021
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 564 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Tuesday, 6 July, 2021. There were no positive results.
To date, 94,205 COVID-19 vaccinations have been given in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 48,722 (69% of an estimated 71,100) had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and approximately 64% have completed the two-dose course.
The person who had been admitted for care to the Health Services Authority due to COVID-19 was discharged and returned to their own accommodation on Tuesday afternoon (6 July).
