CUC and RCIPS conduct tree trimming to prevent hazard to telephone lines
On Friday, our Community Police Officers in George Town assisted CUC in conducting a tree-trimming on North Church Street.
The officers had alerted CUC to the tree, which was posing a hazard to telephone lines at the location, in addition to potentially causing traffic issues due to fallen foliage.
The officers have also pinpointed other nearby areas where overgrown vegetation may potentially cause issues, and are working with our partner agencies to have those trimmed or removed in the coming weeks.
