CARPHA, the Caribbean Public Health Agency, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to work together in preventing diseases and promoting public health across the Caribbean
The agreement includes commitments to combat infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and improve outbreak response, as well as strengthening laboratory and workforce capacity.
The two organizations will also focus on genomic surveillance of high-priority pathogens and addressing antimicrobial resistance.
