June 10, the Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reports 649 COVID-19 tests which have been carried out since yesterday’s press conference. There are four positive results assumed to be locally acquired cases.
These people are asymptomatic and were picked up through screening; contact tracing has started.
So far there are 180 total cases of
COVID-19 in Cayman Islands. 107 have recovered.
One person has died from the virus.
A total of 16,072 tests have been conducted.
Globally a total of 7.3 million positive
COVID-19 cases have been reported.
