Flights are being arranged based on demand. All persons returning to the Cayman Islands are required to isolate for 14 days in a government isolation facility.
The process of traveling from Cayman Brac and Little Cayman to Grand Cayman has been updated. Here is the process:
1. You must notify us using our online TravelTime form of the proposed travel and the address of the residence.
2. You must arrange for voluntary testing of the residents of the proposed address for COVID-19 if you are staying in a private address. If the household test positive for the virus, you shall provide an alternative address and information relating to persons staying at that address. If you cannot provide this address and information you cannot travel to Grand Cayman.
3. If you are staying for more than three nights, you will be tested for the virus no earlier than forty-eight hours prior to departure from Grand Cayman and shall only be permitted to travel after such test has been declared to be negative.
4. If you are staying for three nights or less you shall not be required to be tested for the virus.
In Grand Cayman, boats are not allowed to conduct boating activities in any wildlife interaction zones (Star Fish Point, Rum Point, Stingray City or Sandbar) before Sunday 19 July unless they are commercial vessels who are licensed to operate in the wildlife interaction zones. No more than ten persons can be on board a boat.
An owner of a commercial vessel who is licensed to operate in any wildlife interaction zone may now carry passengers in those zones provided:
✅ they have no more than ten passengers at any one time.
✅ they do not manoeuvre the commercial vessel so as to congregate with any other person or vessel where the number of people gathering is more than ten people.
✅ they do not rent any scuba or snorkeling equipment to any customer for any scuba or snorkeling activity including diving or training (this does not apply to dive tanks).
