Heroes Day Live on TV and Radio
National Heroes Day celebrations this weekend are set to recognise the Cayman Islands seafaring heritage and the men and women who contributed to its development.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions in place for everyone’s safety, the limited seating available at each event is being prioritised for award recipients, programme participants and their invited guests. Organisers are strongly encouraging persons who do not have reserved seating, to instead tune in to live broadcasts on CIGTV and Radio Cayman 89.9FM.
The three events taking place this weekend include: for the Cayman Brac and Little Cayman recipients, on Saturday, 23 January at 1p.m.; for the Bodden Town, North Side, and East End recipients, on Sunday, 24 January at 4p.m.; and for the George Town and West Bay recipients, on Monday, 25 January at 9a.m.
CIGTV is available to viewers on YouTube, Facebook, and via cable from Logic channel 20, Flow channel 106 and C3 channel 3.
