On June 22, Cayman is likely to move to level 2 suppression of COVID-19. This phase will permit external guardians and helpers at homes.
More businesses will be allowed to open in level 2.
Two-phased opening up of economic activity will be in place, before Cayman Islands moves to this level.
All construction and related businesses, and retail and real estate businesses will be allowed to operate as of June 1. Wearing a mask and following social distancing is mandatory.
From June 7 onwards, groups up to 6 people at a table will be allowed to have dinner in restaurants and bars that have outdoor or patio seating connected to the premises. Social distancing is mandatory for those who are not a part of the same household. Tables need to be at least 8 feet apart. Indoor seating or serving is not permitted. The premises must close at 9 pm.
Restaurants can provide food delivery service will until 11 pm.
Businesses not listed above will stay closed, but employees can work remotely.
