The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, on June 30, reports 470 COVID-19 tests carried out in the last 24 hours.
One was positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes
COVID-19 disease; the positive individual was identified through the screening programme and is asymptomatic.
So far there are 200 total cases of
COVID-19 in Cayman Islands. Out of the confirmed cases 48% are female, and 52% men. 62 patients are still in isolation in either government facilities or their homes.
191 patients have recovered.
One person has died from the virus.
A total of 23,750 tests have been conducted.
Globally there are nearly 10.3 million infected
COVID-19 cases.
