Public Advisory on Fraudulent Service Activity
The RCIPS Financial Crime Investigation Unit has commenced investigations based on complaints received of fraudulent activity reported across social media platforms.
It is alleged that a person has taken payment for shutter and screen installation works never completed.
Some of the complaints received go back over four years.
An investigating officer from FCIU has been appointed to investigate all related complaints and an investigation file will be prepared for legal ruling in due course.
Any persons who have been victim of this alleged fraudulent activity is asked to make direct contact with the RCIPS FCIU to assist investigations at RCIPS.FCU@rcips.ky or 949-8797.
