Three new COVID-19 cases reported in Cayman Islands, 23 April
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 341 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Thursday, 22 April 2021. Three were positive.
The individuals are travellers who tested positive following routine screening. They will remain in isolation until considered recovered.
There have been 64,494 Covid-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. 34,939 (54% of 65,000) have had at least one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and 45% of 65,000 have completed the two dose course.
