Three Vehicle Collision Involving a Scooter, 29 August
Just before 5:45AM today, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of a vehicle collision involving two cars and one scooter.
The collision occurred when a white Honda Stream with three occupants, a red scooter with one occupant were traveling along Crewe Road, heading in the direction of George Town and a silver Honda Accord with one occupant was travelling towards the direction of Bodden Town.
Upon reaching the vicinity of Larkspur Way, the driver of the Honda Accord drifted to the right side of the road and collided with the Honda Stream and the motor bike. The occupants of the Honda Stream and scooter received injuries and were transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance where they were all treated for non-life-threatening-injuries and later released. The occupant of the Honda Accord did not report any injuries to the police.
The matter is under police investigation by the police.
