Update: Man Charged in Relation to Stabbing Incident in George Town
A man, age 19 of George Town, has been charged with Wounding in relation to the stabbing which took place on Sound Way on Monday, 31 August.

A man, age 19 of George Town, has been charged with Wounding in relation to the stabbing which took place on Sound Way on Monday, 31 August, 2020. He appeared in court on Friday, 4 September, and was bailed to return tomorrow, 8 September.
Initial Release (1 September):
Shortly before 5:00PM yesterday, 31 August, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at an address on Sound Way, in George Town. An altercation occurred between two men known to each other, when one man stabbed the other multiple times. Emergency services attended the scene and the victim was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital in serious but stable condition. The suspect left the location before the arrival of police.
The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with any information is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
